Any one near to central penna. with 83 745i 3.2
About 100 mile east of pittsburg and 200 mile west of phila.?

there is the remains of a gray market importer
of bmw 745i's. Weather breaks this early spring i am going
to make a pilgrimage...since most stuff if out side buried
in the snow...a couple of 745i's out there....

I live about 10 miles south of Baltimore. Don't have my 745 yet... I do have an 85 '735.
If I get a 745 soon I would be interested in making the trip.

must to have had connections with
german suppliers cause all cars are gray market. Thats where
my car came from, been back twice bought lots of big hard to find items,
still lots of cars around some complete running, one v12 couple of
745i running or in need of repair, doz bodys to pick over.

That sounds great. I once toyed with the idea of opening a euro scrap yard in somerset. Lots of yards around there!!

will let you know well ahead of time before I go...think spring.
Don't come in 745i.. come in pick-up or wagon or trunk that can take dirt and heavy stuff. Maybe we can get a whole bunch of goodies and
sell it to those west coast guys like scottie!

located about dead center in pa.// waiting for spring, first snow melt
will go down and check out the situation, will let you know. hope to get some big stuff like diff. and trans. will need help jacking up dead cars in the mud! There were complete running cars last I visited...will pre-scout it out make arrangements with owner...cash speaks. Wish I had a wheel borrow full...would make a offer for the whole place!
