[13][13] [18][18] I'm getting my ass kicked on the roadfly M5 board for pricing my M5 at $21,500. Some guy named "Scottie" is saying my car is only worth $12k.

First he steals my name, then he disses my car!

His first rude post:

http://bimmer.roadfly.org/bmw/forums/e28m5/6324479-1.html

His subsequent remark of my M5 and my response:

http://bimmer.roadfly.org/bmw/forums/e28m5/6330058-1.html

Scottie, I do not know much about M//5 e28's but did they have SLS system? Seems strange that an M car would have a self leveling system. Also did you see the pictures of this car? Check out the interior.

Yep, all M5s had self leveling. For the same reason as the 745i, to prevent the rear tires from overheating at prolonged high speed driving with a full load.

What it looked like reading the long post was that Scottie was having a discussion with himself. That is realy odd that he would take your screen name and just use it like that. Now we don't know if what we read on rf e28M5 is true or the stuff the imposter posts.

Scottie, your car is what gasoline induced dreams are made of! Sometimes the people that are most envious of you are your biggest detractors.

I have personally seen and driven Scottie's M//5 and it is a very nice car. The overall condition is supurb and it handles like it's a go-cart on rails.

As for the screen name, how can they allow 2 screen names that are the same? I think it's a scam aginst you Scottie! Those damn Road Flies!

I read that stuff also... this Scottie 2 on Road Fly seems like an antagonist. Probably gets his kicks out of making outragous statements and watching the reactions (too much free time). Your car is well worth 21k + hell my M5 is half as nice as yours and I wouldn't sell for less than 12k.
Taking somebodies name (although I heard that somebody else here had the tc name), just isn't cricket (austin powers accent), you'd figure the tight @#$'s over there at RF wouldn't allow it. Oh well... hope to see ya on the battlefield [6]

Some backround checks indicate first hand at home meddeling! Lets just say there is only one persone who is allowed to change the ip listing on posts on road****. You see, perfered members don,t show there ip on there posts, but just show there perfered status! The ip on the posts traces back to a server in califorina! a Large one. The address is red hot and has been used for porn and the like, and has lots of complaints filed against it. This ip wouldn,t get past the weakest securilty on the web, unless allowed to! It is a jelous bmw fan and a jelous bmw sight server, Tracing the intire ip address range of the scottie spoofer, after determining where the ip came from , resusted in tuns of posts all over the roadshit boards. That just about leaves only one sob. I am shure you can see the writing on the wall, maybe will just have a talk with the DA and see what it thinks of this bull! Just a little dug up bones Brew C

That's an awesome E28.
