So I want to mix up German endingeering. I have a Turbo from an 87 Audi 100TQ. I see that the E34 3.5 has a turbo aftermarket add-on. Anyone know if I can put the 100TQ turbo on the E34 3.5 (1990)? I have done some research about the 100TQ and with the Saab 90Turbo boost unit...I can pull up to 21psi. Can this engine handle that? I am attempting to set the car up for SCCA racing at Watkins Glen, and have 3 sponors already. I think I can have the car done by May if this is possible.

I can't think of any 87 Audi engine having a displacement anywhere near 3.5L. Most factory Audi turbos from that era are pretty tiny. Just because it makes 20psi on one engine doesn't mean it will make that much on another. You need something pretty big on a 3.5L. Something like a garrett T4 or a holset hx40. a turbo that is too small is not good as it causes many issues due to heat.

I agree with Ari. Check with Dan Miller at Miller Performance
or Todd at Turbo Charging Dynamics.
They both have kits that work.
