Okay things are really heating up and I had to share the latest with you all. My girl has started to have her make-up applied....

The latest missive below:

Hello hello from us Canadians!

Well, your car is coming alive!!!! The paint color is phenomenal once
its on the car and fresh! We have the engine bay painted up and the Body
will be finished this week. After that, We are going to get the car out
of here and bring it to Dan's parents place. His dad has a huge
garage/shed that he keeps all his hot rods in and it will be safe there.
Also, it gives the paint time to fully cure without any issues like
getting scratched by an employee walking by or what ever may happen at a
shop.

Once all the development is done on the engine system we are doing, we
will bring it back to the shop and start putting the engine back in. and
finishing up the project!

Scottie I agree, and as I posted in the beggining of the thread alot of the props for this car go to you, as well as Dan and Brody. Because without this site and your willingness to keep it running and being so helpful to us noobies I would have never discovered about all the potnetial of these rare beauties. I feel like i am a part of some secret society when I am here!!

What color is that? Delphin? was that the original color.

I have never seen a Delphin car look so good.

I cannot post all of the pics as in the past, as I was sent like a gig's worth plus videos of the car being painted in the booth by the men at Miller Performance...lol But here are a few for your inspection. Sorry of r the delay as I got these awhile back.

Not at the moment, I am mounting up the finances for another push forward. The next step is the engine and it is a major expense for both me and Miller Performance, so we are taking our time and doing it right. It is one of those things that kills you to wait. I promise I will update you ASAP. I will ask them to perhaps send a picture of the car fully painted and cured when they get a chance.

Cool! Nice car .... you lucky dawg!! Just curious, I don't know much about body work or painting, but, did they put on several coats of paint and wetsand between each coat to get a super glossy finish? Also, what do you have planned for the interior? Full restoration?
