Have been on and off obsessed with e23s for years. Since my kid and I did a rest-mod on his '84 533i (b35 swap, g265 upgrade, H&Rs and Bilsteins) I have really come to appreciate the awesomeness of the early '80's BMWs. The 745s are especially beautiful cars and I'm looking forward to learning more about them and hopefully finding one.

My current ride is a '99 e36 M3 with 230K on it. Past rides include a '91 e30 325i, an '01 e46 330i and an '85 euro 635csi.

You being in CA, I am sure you will be able to find a cherry fairly easily. Maybe damned near free if you find one with back taxes and such.

Keep us posted if you do find one!

This is my sig...

Four 745i! One '83 and three '85...I am a glutton for punishment.
