Hi !
As posted in my introduction post I`m from Austria, my name is Gery and I would appreciate your help for installing the Turbo
into my E3.
First problem showed up after receiving the engine.

I bought a M102 engine (maybe it is a M106 ?) Engine has knocking sensor but no Knocking Box, the Jetronic ECU and AFM. Is it a M106 with M102 parts ?

Next is, the engine came with missing flywheel, two wiring looms, one is installed.

Installed loom seems to come from an E30/b35 ? But has the ignition box from Jetronik plugged on ?
I think one of the harnesses is the round one for auto tranny ? I ask because engine came also with the oil pan from the E32/34

The other loom is the Jetronic with ECU-- to make it lot easier with no sticker on it.
Please can anyone bring some light into the matter ?

Is there any sense to work with this stuff ?
My goal is to reach just about 300 hp ( with adjustable Wastegate modification?)

It is clearly a M102 engine (3.2L). Sensor in picture is for water temp, not for knock sensor.
AFM is 0280203012 so M102 part. M106 AFM is 0280203022.

For wire loom i am not sure, to me it looks original M102 part. At least there are no electronics in M102 3-speed auto.

I would go forward with this, M102 layout is quite simple (at least against M106).
For 300 hp you need to modify wastegate and to disconnect safety switch for boost pressure.

I did today post link to M102 engine wiring diagram to another recent topic. Please see if it is any help sorting this out.
