I figured out why your tech said you do
not need the 7's wire, he is thinking
of a pre 84 model with beeing unaware the
84 and up have knock control units.
Gosh this brings up other issues such as,
I'm sure you do not have the 2-plug actav. for the
transi on the motronic, which also confuses the
Engine side verses the transi side interchannging
of readings mmmmmmmmm

| ikerr | Thanks, not sure I understand what to do about the transmission plug. Car is running alright, but not to fast. Need to install a vacuum/boost guage to see what is going on. Of course, you know there is no longer any 3500 rpm full throttle cut off.
