| Measuring Charge air temp |
| cellguru | I want to do a bit of experimenting with intercoolers, and am wondering what type of sensor(s) and gauges would work well to measure the charge air temps before and after the intercooler.
Any ideas?
Thanx

| Jon 86 745 MS | Kevin, try a wire type thermocouple. It is small enough to slip under a hose inot the air pathway and still put a clamp around it to seal the hose back. I have one that hoos up to my Fluke meter and it has about a 6' wire.

| ra0507 | When you try this, I sure would like to hear the results. If you find a sensor or use the wire thermocoupler, I would be very interested.

| Jens | If you really interested I'm selling an exhaust temp with sensor

| ra0507 | Jens,
The temp range for the exhaust temp vs. the compressed air temp at the intercooler will be way different and the exhaust air temp would probably useless at the intercooler.
